Welcome to The 5-day Guided Longevity Fast—a fully supported, science-led fasting experience designed to deliver transformative results in just five days, all from the comfort and convenience of your own home. Developed using the science of Dr Valter Longo’s Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) and refined through Amanda’s 23 years of fasting and nutrition practice, the Longevity Fast gives your body the benefits of a traditional fast—without total food restriction.
You’ll follow a delicious low-calorie, plant-based recipe plan that triggers autophagy, the body’s natural cell-clearing and regeneration process, while keeping energy stable and hunger manageable.
All you need is a blender, a few basic ingredients, and a willingness to reset.

The 5-Day Fast – What Happens Each Day?
Amanda’s method is structured and science-led, but always practical and gentle. You’ll be guided through the key biological stages of renewal with educational resources, videos, and live calls. Here's what your body will experience:
Day 1: The Switch Begins
Your blood sugar and insulin levels start to drop, signalling the body to shift from using carbs to tapping into fat stores for energy. This is the start of nutrient sensing—your body becomes more efficient at managing resources.
Day 2: Autophagy Activation
Old or damaged cells begin to break down and recycle—a cellular spring clean called autophagy. Your body increasingly turns to stored fat for fuel, kickstarting visible fat loss
Day 3: Deep Adaptation
You're now in full fat-burning mode. Behind the scenes, stem cells—your body’s internal repair crew—may start activating. This is where the real metabolic magic begins.
Day 4: Regenerative Mode
Inflammation reduces further, and many people feel a boost in energy and mental clarity. This phase supports deeper repair across tissues, hormones, and immune pathways.
Day 5: Gut healing, shape change and transition
Inner healing continues, including the regeneration of the gut lining—an effect linked with reduced intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”). You'll notice visible changes in skin lustre and body composition. A carefully structured transition menu helps you reintroduce food gently while preserving the results of your fast.
How the Longevity Fast works
You'll be invited to join the Longevity Fast group in our private community app 7-days before your fast begins, plenty of time to say (virtual) hellos and get yourself prepared.
You will have access to a recipe booklet full of delicious nutritious recipes that you'll use for life! The recipe book covers 3 optional prep days, 5 fasting-mimicking days and 3 transition days. The fasting days include a light menu of delicious smoothies, salads, soups and vegetable dishes.
Live group support sessions are run daily during the fast at 1pm weekdays, and 10am weekends. On-demand videos, chat support and recordings available throughout. You will also have access to live movement sessions, and educational and mindset resources.
