About the location

Aberfeldy, Scotland’s healthiest town, couldn’t be more inspiring. The retreat is based at one between two of the town’s finest guest houses, a stone’s throw from each other. Aberfeldy is minutes from Loch Tay and is an easy drive from central Scotland with its major airports, or a short taxi from Pitlochry station. 

How the retreat works

The retreat is hosted by Amanda and a hand-picked team of experts. Designed to help reset both body and mind, the nutrition programme is based on intermittent fasting and tailored nutrition menus that are as delicious as they are nutritious!

You will be intermittent fasting (I.F) using the 16/8 fasting method - in essence, skipping breakfast and taking part in activities such as yoga, pilates and foraging walks before lunch. This is the fasting style favoured by many people looking to lose weight whilst staying - or getting active. For any of our guests who wish to not lose weight we have the option of an extra meal each day.  There are vegan and vegetarian options throughout. For all participants there's a stunning 5-course vegan tasting menu on our final evening. 

Your hosts

Amanda and yoga teacher Tina are the hosts for the event, with additional guest experts on cooking, mindset and fitness. 

The schedule

Guests are asked to arrive by Thursday afternoon. Guidance can be given on travel options.   Thursday's schedule includes a welcome dinner, evening talk and wind down yoga followed by a detox bath. 

Mornings are packed full of activities during the fasting window followed by a lovely lunch. Afternoons are focused on workshops in nutrition, cooking and mindset, with outdoor trips and activities included. There is an optional visit to the famed 'Hot Box' wellness spa on the banks of Loch Tay - taking a dip is optional! 

The inspiring experience includes group sessions in yoga and pilates. Regardless of your current exercise regime, you will leave feeling significantly fitter, healthier and happier. There’s also time to soothe muscles and de-stress the mind with optional massage treatments that can be arranged. 

With a final focus on goal setting, motivation and ongoing aftercare, this retreat is an ideal kick-start to longer term results.

All bookings subject to a £500 holding deposit. This can be refunded minus an admin fee of £25 up to 14 days in advance of the retreat, or at any time for medical reasons. Retreat dates can also be moved at no cost if another slot is available. 


Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
